Twin blast and the aftermath. By Noman Sajjad

The Youhanabad twin bombings on 15th March 2015 left the entire nation in a state of chaos. The whole nation is traumatized with the fear of becoming a target to suicide bombing and mob killing. Pakistan is ranked 8th among the most dangerous country to live in since cases of terrorism have increased to a severe, irrepressible and intolerable level.
Youhanabad tragedy is a conspiracy to divide the nation and create unrest in the country. Terrorists have no religion but a clear action plan to disturb peace and harmony in the country by killing innocents and terrorizing masses. However, since inception of Pakistan, the minorities remained the soft targets and have been penalized in the name of forced conversions, blasphemy cases, target killing and suicide blasts. The Government failed badly to provide adequate security and justice to the minorities. Condemnation is not enough neither the financial compensation. Government’s tall promises fall short when such terrorist activity takes place showing their inability.
Protesting is our constitutional right but no one is above law. The people involved in the lynching incident should be held accountable for their crime. Mobsters causing vandalism in the name of protest is unacceptable. No any argument can justify the brutality shown by the angry mob. Since the government is showing a great interest in finding out the faces behind the lynching of two Muslims They should also show the vigor to reach the brains behind church bombing
The damage has been done. All we can do is to minimize the aftereffects. Otherwise the fumes will affect the masses and might ignite the fire if not handled properly. Vigilantism is not acceptable by any means but it explains the distrust in the Government institutions. From the assassination of Salman Taseer to the lynching of the two men. All is condemnable and inhumane act. The responsible should be given an exemplary punishment otherwise the rule of jungle will take over. I demand justice for the lynching of two men. At the same time I demand justice for the twin blast victims, Christian couple that was burnt alive in Kasur, brothers who were beaten to death in Sialkot, victims of Shantinagar and so on and so forth.
