He sold his own blood to help Bible students, paid the ultimate price. By Jim Davis (Pastoral Training of Asia) Paul Ciniraj Ministry

Teaching the Karen tribal people is such a privilege. We taught in their villages, churches, Bible School and in the Thom Hin Refugee Camp. Serving in the refugee camp with no electricity, running water and pit toilets is always eye opening. Those living there are happy, not complaining but rather glad for their safety from rape, slave labor and death at the hands of the Burmese soldiers.
We went to a memorial service for a deeply dedicated believer. He had a heart to help Bible School students and the only way he could give was to sell his own blood. Unfortunately, he gave so much that he weakened his own condition, he got sick and he died. He gave his all to equip others to proclaim the Gospel.
The sense of love and unity in this Christian community is a wonderful thing to witness. May it spread to our shores and to our hearts and churches as well?
While coming into the camp we passed a weeping mother tightly holding her tiny baby. We could not pass by without getting involved. We followed her into a house and asked what was wrong. She told us that the doctors examined her 2 month old baby girl and said she was going to die, with or without surgery. Our hearts broke as we wept together. We prayed and asked the Great Physician to touch and heal that little baby. A love offering was given to her because she is dirt poor.
Indeed, prayer becomes all important when the Lord is the only answer.
Our monthly pastor’s seminar was held on the island of Leyte in the City of Ormoc. The seminar topics were Christian Marriage & Family and Evangelism. One day we went house to house with the gospel and 78 people received Jesus! An added blessing: 38 homes want Bible studies in their homes. 8,000 gospel tracts were distributed.
Please pray for the new believers in Ormoc, that the seed of salvation would grow and be protected. Our support has dropped extremely low. We run a very tight ship; please pray that hearts would be touched to support this Mission. Also, pray for more missionaries.
