Jewels of freedom. By Sara Rebekah Adams
Feelings uncertain, overwhelmed with emotion Waves of loneliness obliterated with three sweet words I love you He says to me Its real and He’s mine But fear always flies overhead…..
So many times the pain to return
Overshadowing the moments of peace
Heaven sends the tranquil jewels
Yet hell persists in its torment
The power of love victorious
As I sit alone a gentle voice whispers
Do not worry you are mine
Awed by the kindness
Numbed by the touch
Abba I cry, I am Yours.
Words that are true,
Peace fulfilled in calm
Humbled yet happy
Forgiveness my goal
My blood for you child.
As I stumble and fall
Tears flowing and shunned
Take my hand
Whispers Father
You child are mine!
No power on earth
Nor evil nor greed
The storms of upheaval
Calmed by the living Word
My love is eternal
On knees as a child
Father! I cry
In Thine arms I rest
My light of the world
I am free.
Overshadowing the moments of peace
Heaven sends the tranquil jewels
Yet hell persists in its torment
The power of love victorious
As I sit alone a gentle voice whispers
Do not worry you are mine
Awed by the kindness
Numbed by the touch
Abba I cry, I am Yours.
