Every day I woke up I long for a good start but the hope remains hope and later it fades away because it never happens. I always think that our leaders have suffered a lot to get a separate homeland for Muslims where they can live according to the teachings of Islam for this reason they lost their own folks, swathe their bodies with blood, tolerated unnecessary things and due to the hard work of our leaders the land “Islamic Republic of Pakistan” has been emerged as a sovereign state on the map of the world. The secret of Islamic-ness is to break the images of colour, casts and races so that there may be neither Turk nor Afghan and nor Sindhi or Balochi. In spite of this fact we have divided political parties according to the races due to which the chances are more to fight with each other and that’s what happening since the creation of parties. They kill, they rob, they threat and they torture their own brothers and sisters without any reason. Every time I leave my house with a fear of being unsafe and pray to return home safe and sound but everyone is not lucky to get back home alive and well.
Whenever I switch channels I hear the news of somebody’s death and I see the dead bodies lying on the road like a heap of garbage in my country but still no one cares. I see the people shouting and howling for their rights, some are dying of starvation and some commit suicide because they have no shelter to live in, no food to eat, no job to earn money in short their life is not worth living. No one is there to sort out the problems and to provide necessary things to the needy people because everyone is busy enjoying their luxurious lifestyle especially our leaders. They have become so impassive and inhumane that they don’t really care about those who are living in extreme poverty; those who are dying day by day even if they are not culprits; those who are raped only because they live in a cruel society. Is this a fault of civilians who are living in the country where the people of government are reckless, inattentive and callous or a fault of leaders who are the puppets of America?
Unfortunately the leaders just wrestle for the seats rather than fighting with the foes of their country and against the social problems. These acts of leaders are the consequence of nation’s downfall. We are blessed with the land but not with a good leader.
