PCC condemn arrest of Salim Baloch, Central Vice President of JWP and advisor to Nazir Bhatti in Pakistan.
Philadelphia; March 11, 2006. Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, Founder President of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC has strongly condemned arrest of Salim Baloch, VP Jamhori Watan Part JWP and Special Advisor to PCC in Pakistan.
Nazir Bhatti also condemned oppression on Baloch nation and military action in Balochistan.
Nazir S Bhatti said " Salim Baloch is patriot Pakistani like Nawab Akbar Bughti, President, JWP, who is forced to fled by government operation in Balochistan"
He added, " Government is supposed to dialogue Akbar Bughti instead the arrests of JWP leaders like Salim Baloch which is government attempt to worsen situation in Balochistan"
Nazir Bhatt said that present situation in Balochistan is due to injustice with Balochistan in share of federal resources and share in power. The voice of JWP leaders is voice of Balochistan and government of Pakistan is supposed to respect Baloch voice.
He said that Nawab Akbar Bughti is true voice of oppressed nations in Pakistan and Pakistani Christians fully support JWP because its only political party in Pakistan to nominate Christian leaders on important ministries in Balochistan.
Mr Bhatti said that Salim Baloch is my representitive in Pakistan and he has been representing me in co-ordination council of PCC and his arrest has caused grave concern for PCC and me.
Nazir Bhatti said that he shall present petition with UNO if Salim Baloch is not reached home in Karachi up to March 18, 2006, because Salim Baloch is voice of Christians as well as Baloch nation.
Bhatti urged government to dialogue with Nawab Akbar Bughti, Sardar Mengal and Sardar Marri to resolve Balcchistan issue and end arrests of JWP leaders because military action is not solution of Balochistan.
