The independent churches in third world countries, mostly appeal for donations and support from western churches and funding agencies. These churches never receive such support or even prayers from rich western churches because established churches a

The independent churches close down after a while and laymen ministers go dishearten. The appeal by an Australian independent mission church is very fine example for them that they are not alone. There are also many independent churches in crisis in rich western countries but still struggling to keep the flag of Jesus Christ high in materialistic world. Lets, listen to call of this Australian Mission Church and kneel down to join in prayers for support from heavenly powers of Lord. Its also our duty under Christian faith to send our donations to this Australian Church. Our Brother Andrew writes: “Hi again! Please excuse my impersonal approach. I'm sending this out to our email friends. I really would like to hear back from you... MISSION STATION Our little church, Church For You, meets at 3 Kirk Street, Elizabeth Park, and South Australia 5112. We're an independent Baptist church, intent on reaching souls for Christ in a needy area. We're small in number, yet we've sought to actively reach our neighborhood. And so we've used mini-buses to collect many children, who come along to hear God's Word. Thank God, many children have trusted Christ. Largely from underprivileged homes. It would break your heart to hear some of the stories of these young people and the kind of lives they lead. Their only hope is Christ. OUR SITUATION We are in earnest prayer to the Lord. As things stand, purely from the human standpoint, we cannot continue to operate. Fuel and operating costs are way beyond us. We're sacrificing, yet we are not meeting the need. Souls are being won, plucked as brands from the burning. Sometimes I feels like we're missionaries on the field without any support. PRAY WITH US To be frank... Does God want this church to continue? I am asking God to shut the door or open it. Please pray with us. It's hard yakka, to use the Aussie vernacular. I am willing to soldier on. We could get rid of the buses, but I cannot give up the children. The people we have are working and giving as best they are able. People have left the church - am I doing something wrong? Sometimes the only feedback you get as a pastor is criticism and discouragement. I am trying the best way I know how to shepherd the sheep and minister Christ to the people in a balanced and caring way, whilst encouraging godliness and truth. I'd be glad to know what you would do, if you were in this situation? I'm sorry to bother you with this. I'm just being brutally honest today. All I'm asking for is for you to pray with us, and maybe you have an idea that can help us? God bless you! Thanks for listening! Andrew
