HYDERABAD. July 26, 2003: National Commission for Justice and Peace, Human Rights Commission of Pakistan, ASR resource center, Sindh Development Society, Muslim Christian Dialogue, Human Development Organization, Social Harmony and other organization

The rally was led and addressed by Brother Philip Hera, Father John Murad, Aftab Ahmed Chowdhry, Ahuja S.Lal, Ghaffar Malik and Sooba Bhatti. They said that on July 4,2003 suicide bomber killed 35 people and injured 56 in Imambargah in Quetta, On July 5 Father George Ibrahim was killed in Renal Khurd in Punjab, On July 16 a bomb blasted in Hyderabad civil hospital in Sindh injuring 11 persons and the murder of judges in Sialkot jail on 25 July are the incidents of open terrorism. They said the murder of 7 workers of National Commission for Justice and Peace in Rampa Plaza Karachi was the worst act of terrorism in history of Pakistan. They said the whole nation was lamenting on these acts of terrorism. They said these incidents have not only exposed the Intolerance and religious prejudice prevailing in Pakistan society but has also exposed the attitude of violence and terrorism in the name of relation. They expressed sympathy with those who were made victims of terrorism and demanded arrest of culprits and awarding exemplary punishment to them. They said The terrorism, plunder, human humiliation, incidents of killings under Karo Kari and bombing of religious places has become the order of the day. They said they make appeal to government of Pakistan to provide protection to citizens and arrest the elements that were damaging the nation and country.
