He added that Hindu Muslim riots in India have been witnessed by the international communities since 1947, the independence of sub continent from British colonial rule, killing thousands of Muslims on controversial religious issues by the Hindu majority. The sad and inhuman incidents of burning missionaries and his children alive, desecration of churches, vandalism of graveyards and attacks on church leaders across India from last decade have been escalated in such manner and force that such human rights violations have, t been witnessed in Islamic Republic of Pakistan toward christian minorities even. The statement of Vajpayee against Missioners in south Asia at the time when eight foreign social workers have been arrested by Afghan Talban government seems very mysterious and encouragement to Talaban to detain foreign social workers on false pretexts as made by India. It seems that Indian government plans to prove two nation theory, a big mistake in sub continent and to instigate millions of Christians to demand the re partition of sub continent as Christians during independence movement from British colonial rule decided to favor of Congress and League, not demanding their due share in power like Hindus and Muslims.
Mr. Bhatti said that Christians of south Asia are peace loving communities according to teachings of Christianity but incidents of violations to their equal basic democratic rights and religious liberties in India As well as in Islamic Republic of Pakistan is leading towards extremist approach adoption measures among Christians for their survival in respective states.
Mr. Bhatti urged upon SARK, the south Asian regional cooperation, comprising of Buttan, India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Pakistan, to step forward to establishment of Minorities committees to curb the violence against religious communities and to adopt recommendations to safeguard minorities' rights and freedom of belief.
