Robin Fernandez, PCP Correspondent also wins Barret Award of Best News reporter 2002.
Karachi. January 29. The jury has selected Robin Fernandez as the best SAR News Reporter of the year 2002. The Indian Catholic Press Association's Barrett Award for the best SAR News Reporter of the Year goes to Robin Fernandez.
In a message of Congratulations by Fr.George Plathottam sdb, President, ICPA, Editor in Chief, SAR News says to Robin Fernandez " I am happy that this time a reporter from Pakistan has won this award. It is a great honor for you and for all of us."
The award will be conferred on Feb. 22nd at evening during the ICPA Award Function. Which will be attending by large gathering in Patna, India.
The award consists of a cash award of INR. 10,000/- (Ten thousand only) and a citation. The award money has been doubled from this year thanks to a grant from the Jesuit province of Patna to which Barrett belonged.
