Today at 4.00 PM hundreds of Christian gathered before Assembly building chanting slogans and hitting their chest in particular Indian cultural ways to mourn the deaths of Christian ladies. The protestors carried play cards and banners with the slogans ' we are not safe in Pakistan" and End terrorism against Christians in Pakistan. The anger from the Christian protestor was very clear and they weren't confident that government should bring the arrested Muslims involved before justice. There was fear on the faces of protestors during the protest on any attack by the Muslim militants on them and the city with millions of Christians was under fear but Patras Ghani successes to bring his members on roads this time too. Patras Ghani is the only Christian leader from Lahore City who have been always protesting by his hunger strikes and rallies in capital city of Punjab on any incident of persecution of Christians in Pakistan since 1988. He contested the provincial assembly elections many time but the government agencies have always used administrative tactics to keep him away from the house. On this protest venue he addressed the protestors and said that Christians are not safe any more in Pakistan and government have failed to bring the Muslim militants involved in church attacks to justice. He termed the Muslim church attackers " Hate attackers against the Christianity" and urged the government to end hate from the society. Mr. Ghani demanded the equal democratic rights for the minorities and religious liberties in Pakistan. The Lahore Police was present to protect Christian protestors from any attack by the radical Muslim groups as the Muslim religious groups have been demanding the release of Mohammad Afzal, Muslim Pesh Imam of Chianwali village mosque who was arrested after the grenade attack on his religious decree that " to kill Christians on Christmas is Islamic teachings' On other hand police have religious sympathy with arrested Muslims and they have been expressing from their day of arrest that " there is not any strong evidence of Muslims arrested involvement in the church attack"
