But the latest petition filed by the pro-Musharraf PML-Q in the Supreme Court has sent alarm bells ringing across the political divide, as anti-Musharraf forces fear another round of manipulation. "This fear is very real because as we understand it the women who have come to the fore and whose nomination papers have been accepted are indeed graduates, so why does the PML-Q need more women and that too unqualified ones?" one analyst asked. "The question should make all of us very uncomfortable," the analyst added. Both Christian and Hindu candidates appear out of sorts with the constant barrage of changes being introduced almost every step of the way. Some of the minority members resent the latest attempt to bring in more candidates through the back door. "If the petition is at all approved, it will be a thumbs down for all of us.
