Shahhid Meraj; the Dean of the Lahore Cathedral of the Church of Pakistan said that the Government of Pakistan should officially condemn the killing of Iraqi Christians and ensure the end of the cruelty on them He said that the international community has to wake up and let every human being live according to their beliefs. He further announced that tomorrow on August 17, 2014 prayers will be said for the Iraqi Christians, people of Palestine and Kashmir and those who are suffering in Pakistan especially Asia Bibi and Sawan Masih; the victims of Blasphemy Law. Fr. Inayat Bernard, rector of St. Mary’s Seminary Lahore thanked the Holy Father Pope Francis who showed his concern towards the Iraq Christians. Special prayers were said for justice in Pakistan and demanded the freedom of every person to profess their faith according to their religion.
