New York (August 12): In an interview to the BBC Radio (Live Five), Bureau Chief of Pakistan Christian Post, Aftab A. Christopher expressed his views concerning the recent terrorist attacks on Christian School at Murree and Christian Hospital at Texi

BBC: How many Christians are there in Pakistan? Chris: There are 15 million Christians in Pakistan. We are the largest minority in Pakistan. BBC: What the government doing to protect Christians? Chris: The government is taking all out steps to protect lives and property of the Christians. But the government needs to do more. There are three specific things about the terrorists, I think, their communication network, they are well trained, and how they move their ammunition. Until and unless the government agencies are able to track down that how the terrorists communicate to each other and how they move their ammunition, such terrorist attacks in future cannot be avoided. BBC: To what group the terrorists belong and why they are attacking Christians? Chris: Terrorists belong to Al-Qaeda since America was involved in Afghanistan the Al-Qaeda is retaliate by attacking Christians in Pakistan. The terrorists could also belong to RAW (Indian Intelligence Agency) because since Pakistan is supporting the International Coalition against Terrorism India is trying to play down Pakistan. The terrorism in Pakistan is not local it is foreign. Christians are living peacefully and the Muslims are also living peacefully with Christians. BBC: Do Christians support their government? Chris: Yes, Pakistani Christians fully support the government
