4 killed in Taxila missionary hospital grenade attack

ISLAMABAD: Four people, including three nurses, have been killed while 21 have been injured in a grenade attack on a Christian missionary hospital in Taxila.

According to hospital sources, one of the attackers who was standing by the hospital guard talking signalled his accomplices when he saw worshippers coming out of the chapel after finishing their morning prayers. The accomplices upon receiving the signal hurled explosives at the worshippers killing three nurses on the spot while injuring scores of others. While the attacker, standing at the gate was shot dead by the guard. The names of the killed nurses are Bushra, Nazeera, and Alishaba. The attack comes four days after six Pakistanis were killed in an attack on a Christian missionary school in Murree.
