Toronto: March 15, 2012. (PCP) According to e-Mails circulating in bulkmails report that Parvez Masih, President of ICV, have resigned from ICV on March 3, 2012! These are contents of letter from Parvez Masih

My dear Brothers and Sisters,  God bless you all abundantly.  I talked with many of you and appreciative of your frustration about the cause of persecuted Christians being compromised by the Chairman of ICV and its other decision makers. Thanks for being so good to work with your ideas, dreams and suppport for the change. I am also thankful that you have been a great source of inspiration for me in these days to reshape and rebuilt our direction to fulfill the real cause. I believe in your power, passion and energetic support what we really need today to defeat every negative idea to give up the cause, a cause greater than any leader and organization. I want all of you to please become the integral part and centre of our future plans to promote the cause of persecuted Christians with sincerity and solidarity. I would also like to invite all of you to join hands with me to work together with commitment for the cause of our brothers and sisters suffering due to their faith in Pakistan and all over the world. Together we can definitely change the world and be able wipe the tears of our brothers and sisters.   With warmest regards and expectation of positive response from all of you.  Sincerely yours, Pervez Masih  March 03, 2012   The Chairman, ICV  Dear Peter Bhatti,  Re:  Resignation as President and membership of ICV  As you are aware that I have served the then CLF and now ICV with my heart and soul. Due to my prolonged and close association with Martyr Shahbaz Bhatti, who was more than my brother and my leader, I made myself fully and deeply committed to his cause and vision for our Christian brothers and sisters being persecuted owing to their faith.  After assassination of Martyr Shabaz Bhatti, I have observed that ICV in your leadership seems to be working for your personal goals and against the vision of Martyr Shabaz Bhatti for which he gave his life. As such, leaders and members of ICV were always not being consulted while making some important decisions. As President of ICV, if at any stage, I dared to bring my and other executive members' feelings about your unwarranted and undemocratic attitude that you are running the affairs of the organization for your own motives, you just turned deaf ear to our concern. You always have an attitude to keep things up to you. This has become the main cause that all main executive members have left ICV. Due to the reasons, there is no point for me also to continue as the President and member of ICV.     Keeping in view the stated circumstances, I, therefore, tender my resignation from the position of President of ICV and its membership with immediate effect. Pervez Masih
