Pakistan Army officer kidnapped and sexually assaulted a Christian youth girl

Faisalabad: April 27, 2011. (PCP) A Christian youth girl named Sehar Naz (24) from Christian Town Faisalabad was kidnapped and sexually assaulted by a Muslim man for 4 days

at different places in Faisalabad and Lahore. After quenched the lust, the rapist left her at Railway Station Faisalabad and threatened her that he would involved her parents in a bomb blast case if she told anybody about this incident. On 16th April 2011, a case (FIR # 454/2011) under section 365-B of Pakistan Penal Code was registered on the complaint of her father Khurshid Alam against unknown person with Civil Lines Police Station, Faisalabad. Later on, Sehar Naz was medically examined at Civil Hospital Faisalabad where she was declared victim of sexual violence. Sehar Naz reported the facts to National Commission for Justice & Peace (NCJP)-Faisalabad that she was working with State Life Insurance Cooperation as a sales representative. On 14th April, she was going for a meeting with her Area Manager and Sales Manager. On the way, a man dressed in black t-shirt and trouser who called himself as intelligence police officer stopped and asked us for identification cards. He said, “a call has received us against you, so show me your identification cards”. He took me at his residence as I had not identification card. Afterwards, he raped me from time to time at different places on gun point for 4 days. On 25th April Sehar Naz nominated the rapist Major Rana Atif in her statement to the investigation officer Muhammad Bashir. At present, local police is investigating into the matter but the rapist is at large. NCJP-Faisalabad is providing legal assistance to the victim.
