New York. July 21. Mr. Nazir s Bhatti, Founder President of Pakistan Christian Congress said that its result of Joint election system implementation that minority leaders are no more on agenda to call on present to discuss the situation on abolishmen

Its again privileges to Muslim women that their reserved seats have been increased from 20 to 65 as allocated in Islamic republic of Pakistan constitution of 1973 and new reserved seats have been added and allocated for technocrats when 1973 constitution never allowed such seats of technocrats. The reasons of abolishment of minority seats are still not understandable by this government. Under separate electorate system the government was forced to listen the voice of minorities but now there are no such limitations on administrations when they claim that joint election system have brought minorities in main stream of society and majority leaders can take care of minority rights. Mr. Bhatti said that dozens of Muslim leaders have visited the president and non of them have urged the government to restore the reserved minority seats in parliament and Christians concern over blasphemy laws and recent amendments on Christian marriage laws. Its also surprising that any majority political party have not announced the nomination of any Christian candidate on any seats from any constituency on their party ticket nor there is any indication to any Christian woman or technocrats for the nomination on allocated seats for them when the election campaign is on momentum day by day. Mr. Nazir s Bhatti urged the President of Pakistan to invite the true Christian leaders instead of Christian clerics this time and listen to their true views and demands to be aware of their situation unless the minorities shall lose their interests in these elections.
