Muslim Nurses Refused To Take Meals Prepared By Christian Cook in Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Center Karachi.

Karachi. June 25,2001(correspondent). In JPMC Karachi, school of nursing, where 80% nurses are Christian and 20% Muslim, the administration terminated the christian cook Parvez John on pretext that Muslim nurses do not like to eat any food prepared b

. Parvez John, an experienced cook of five star hotel, passed the entry tests, interview and medical by the JPMC and was posted at school of nursing hostel. Mst Mehwish Nadir, Muslim, superintendent of the hostel, suspended him and informed the director, prof. Capt. Rasheed Ahmad Chowdry that Muslim nurses hate to take meals cooked by Parvez John because he is christian. Parvwz John is continuously trying to get his job of cook in hospital from last three months but no consideration is given to his posting. The touch ability is very old curse of subcontinent of India where the upper class Hindus hated lower class Hindus and followers of other religions in India. The christian leaders and members coordination committee of pakistan christian congress, Mr Morris Sadiq, Mr. Sardar Masih have strongly condemned the situation of touch ability in Islamic republic of pakistan and demanded an ordinance against discrimination and haterate on basis of religion. They demanded the immediate posting of Parvez John.
