Islamabad. 19 March, (correspondent) Its very sad that church leadership of Pakistan hesitated to hold the memorial service of the victims of international Protestant church Islamabad in any catholic or church of Pakistan worship place in the capital

The fear among Christian clergy can be easily viewed by this hesitation. The church representation was present in this memorial service along with Muslim religious leaders but any notable Muslim religious party leader was absent to condemn this terrorist act of militant. Memorial service for those who lay down their lives in terrorist's attack on a church in Islamabad on Sunday last was held at the residence of Christian leader J.Salik here this evening. The service was conducted by father John Nevin of Fatima Church Islamabad and Pastor Sardar Good of UP Church Raja Bazar Rwp besides Christian clerics and others the service was attended by some leading Muslim Ulema. Addressing the congregation Maulana Mohd Ajmal Qadri, President of Jamiyat Ulema-e-Islam Pakistan condemned the dastardly and despicable act. He said it could not be an act of any Pakistani and least of all by anyone belonging to a religious outfit. He recalled that while India's face was stigma stained the cause of frequent communal carnages there was complete Muslim-Christian amity in Pakistan. Among others who were present at the occasion were Sahabzada Syed ul Sharif Abbasi, Chairman of Sunni Council Pakistan, Maulana Mohd Idrees and Ch. Mohd Islam of Jamiyat Ulema-e-Islam Islamabad and Babu Basharat from Fatima Church Islamabad.
