Dear Editor Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's involvement in Lalitgate (as reported in media Tuesday evening that in August, 2011 Raje backed Lalit Modi’s UK immigration application on the condition that her support was not made known to the Indian Authorities) legally requires prosecution of Vasundhara for helping and abetting fugitive from law and that too when Vasundhara was Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan (with Cabinet rank). But on June 19, 2015 the defense provided by her party BJP (that this document is not authenticated / verified) is untenable. This document was put in public domain by Advocate Mehmood Abdi of Lalit Modi (and his PR team). Whenever an Advocate presents any document he / she always have access to original. Therefore it is the responsibility of Advocate Abdi to provide originals (or its certified true copies) whenever demanded by authorities. Investigating officer of Rajasthan govt. could have easily got original of these documents from Advocate Abdi but Vasundhara will not do it. Hence BJP (the party with difference) should ask Vasundhara to either file criminal defamation case against Lalit Modi, his Advocate Abdi and his PR Team (if she claims there are no such documents) or else resign from Chief Minister-ship of Rajasthan and face the criminal prosecution..
