Dear Editor The dastardly terrorist attack on a school in Peshawar of Pakistan by Taliban has rightly been condemned categorically and in an unqualified manner by right thinking people from all over the world., because anyone who kills children (and women too) by organized violence (sanctioned or otherwise) deserve to be not only condemned but also to be dismantled. But people should not be class prejudiced in this matter. Pakistan military carrying out operation Zarb - e - Azb in tribe area of Waziristan along with drone attacks by USA (with the acquiescence / complicity of Pak Govt) are also killing hundreds of innocent children and women. Just because the children of these tribes do not wear tie, suit (and do not speak English and are not associated with powerful military of Pakistan) that does not mean they should be killed with impunity and with no outcry against it. Policy of Pak Govt to keep border with Afghanistan porous is also hugely responsible for promoting terrorism as it allows terrorists to cross the border comparatively much easily, in order to seek safe refuge. Moreover treating tribes as some protected weak class and not treating them politically equal as citizens of Punjab, Sindh States of Pakistan are treated (thus permanently denying them modern, powerful and progressive life) render these tribes vulnerable [as is happening in India also where tribe area (one third territory of India) has become inflicted with Naxalite terrorism]. Therefore people (while rightly organizing protest, demonstration, messaging etc against Peshawar killing and expressing solidarity with the affected families and constraining Pak Govt to deal with all types of terrorism comprehensively) should also keep human rights of tribes of Waziristan etc in mind (who are living in million in refugee camp as a result of Zarb - e - Azb and drone attacks) and should show the same alertness and humanity for constraining Pakistan Govt to treat these tribes of Pakistan too, as human beings and civilized citizens of Pakistan.
