Islam has no future if continues to fail in getti
Dear Dr. Hussain,rnI would like to congratulate to you for presenting a wonderful programme called “Aalim on Line”. This programme is not only informative for the Muslims but sometimes there are good materials for the other religions.rnWhenever I get a time and opportunity, I watch this programme. The beautify of the programme is not that this is telecast on the Geo TV, I believe the reality is different, like me there are thousands of other viewers watch this programme, as this programme is reasonably good. Compare to other commentators, people like your fair comments, and you as a good gentleman try your best to keep balance among other religions.rnHowever, I watch “Aalim on Line” on 22 April, 2008 and the facts and figures you updated to the viewers about the Islam is growing in the world are 100% wrong, in fact you totally misled the people. I do not think people expect wrong information from a scholars like you. I believe you completely presented in a pessimistic way.rnThe comments of Monsignor Vittorio Formenti, an official representative of Vatican does not say in any of his interview that Muslims are more than Christians in numbers, whereas the heading of all newspapers clearly highlighted as follows:rn“Muslims More Numerous Than Catholics”rn“Islam has overtaken Catholicism”rnFor your convenience and ready references – here are web-links of this article news which I am sure would be sufficient for your claim.rnMr. Formenti presented the facts & figure:rn More than 19 per cent of the world's people followed Islam rnCatholics amount to 17.4 per cent of the global population. rnHe added that if all Christian groups were considered, including Orthodox churches, Anglicans and Protestants, Christians made up 33 per cent of the world's population. rnThe number of followers was rising so fast because of higher birth rates in Islamic countries, said Monsignor Formenti, while the Catholic proportion of the world's population was fairly stable. rnThe official said the data on Muslim populations had been compiled by each individual country and then released in a report by the UN.rn Dear Dr. Hussain I believe the above information is sufficient (with evidence) to give the correct picture to the viewers. There is nothing hidden in the statement that “Muslims More Numerous Than Catholics” However, this statement does not say that “Muslims More Numerous Than Christians. Christian are still 33 per cent of the world’s population and Muslim are 19 per cent.rnSecondly, your point is wrong and baseless that the missionary traveled to poor countries as the motto was to convert them from Islam to Christianity. For this reason, they have opened hospitals, schools and Charity organisations.rnI believe you have to be thankful at least they had started charity works for the poor, provided them good education in the Christian Institutions…There are 80% people in Pakistan & India are educated because of the good work they have done. Mostly President and Prime Ministers of Pakistan have education from these institutions. Even the founder of Pakistan Quaid-e-Azam got his initial education from CMS Karachi. rnPlease take my comments in a very positive way - always keep in mind your programme is watched across the globe. Whenever you give information to the viewers, ensure you have the right & correct information and media is now beyond Pakistan . rnI am confident, you as a good gentleman will clarify this issue in your next programme, and people would know the truth.rnI pray for the success for your programme.rnKind regardsrnrnJohn BoscornYours brother in Christ.
