Hello Nasir, Shortly before I got married, I spent three months in Karachi, Pakistan. The role of the youth is the same all around the world: we are called to live by the grace of God, being whom He made us to be and doing what He called us to do. And He made each person different, with a different calling and different services. How can you ask such a question? Do you really want the answer? To be honest, I am angry! I am an adult, and in Pakistan, this did not matter. I was introduced as a "young girl," although I am 24. You believe in Pakistan that a female is a girl until she is married, and you believe a male is a boy until he is married. Who makes men and women, Nasir? Do men and women qualify each other or does God qualify them? It is by God’s grace that we are men and women - not by cultural rites of passage or social roles! You ask insincere questions because I do not believe Pakistanis want a true answer! You do not give your youth the freedom or grace that God gives us so freely. Do not you see how BIG of a step God took when He gave us free will? Yet He gave it, knowing the risks. And He is wiser than man. In Pakistan, you take all the freewill of your youth away. They are dying! I will talk to you later when I have the time to clarify the things I said and give examples. Your youth are SO important. They are the leaders of the next generation. How do you expect them to be good decision makers when you give them no decisions? How do you expect them to be pursuers of truths when they are not free? You spoon-fed to them what you all think they should think. Therefore, they are handicapped. They have no muscles on their bodies from no exercise (I have seen this!!!), and likewise, their muscles of decision-making and leadership are in decay! But weak is how the elders want them. I myself have seen the way the church leadership is domineering. They are control freaks in competition with one another. I hope that you will find it in you to show forgiveness toward my anger.
