Greetings in the name of Jesus Christ Rays of development organization (ROD) Sargodha, Pakistan is a non-profit charitable organization working for the welfare and comfort of humanity, especially minorities. We are doing our best in the fields of health, education, environment protection, to bring awareness concerning child and women rights, to bring wakefulness against the minority especially Christian persecution, to educate common man at grass root level regarding to basic human rights and to provide legal assistance to poor and deprived human kind. ROD is a bunch of enthusiastic, energetic, honest, sincere, and committed Pakistani Christian youth. It is our utmost desire to see minorities of Pakistan, prosperous and flourish. Unfortunately Pakistan is Islamic radical state. Consequently, the minorities are tortured and persecuted daily. However ROD stands for the deprived minorities of Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Whenever a violent incident happens against humanity especially minorities, ROD reaches, investigates and highlights muggers. ROD communicates with National and International media to let government and non-government organizations know about the atrocities happening across the country. ROD also provides legal assistance to the mistreated victims of the society. ROD speaks for those who can not speak for themselves. In this way ROD helps them get justice. ROD arranges advocacy for such uncared and persecuted men and women. ROD educates people to respect other people regardless of their colour, breed, faith, dialect or social status. ROD teaches and educates using ‘Street theatre’ as medium of instruction to educate community. By street theatre ROD had been conveying the messages about Children and Women rights, environment protection and many other important issues like drugs and environment protection. ROD conducts walks, seminars, study circles and symposia to create interfaith harmony, peace, love and tolerance. ROD prison ministry help and comfort prisoner. In simple words this group of committed Christian Pakistani Youth (ROD) is doing its best to serve and save humanity. Unfortunately ROD has sincere and honest work force, ready to serve man kind, come hell or high waters. What they don’t have is the proper guidelines and funds. Due to the lack of funds ROD often feels restlessness and they can’t work to their full potential.
