Dear Dr. Nazir Bhatti, Greetings from Pakistan. I read the letter of Mr. Nisar. I am ready to go any where in the world. Yet with my military background the Indians will not allow me any type of Visa. If it was possible for me to go to India, I would have gone there much earlier. As far as Dr. Zakir Abdul Karim Naik is concerned, he does not speak the truth. This morning I was watching him claiming that Lord Jesus Christ was sent to the “House of Israel” therefore the ministry of Lord Jesus Christ was only for “House of Israel” and not for the entire world. Dr. Zakir Naik quotes “And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil. But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us. But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel”. (Matthew 15: 22-24) yet Dr. Zakir Naik fails to read the whole passage. Lord Jesus wanted to show what faith in Him can do for any one. Lord was going to heal the daughter of the woman from Canaan, yet he wanted to demonstrate the force of faith to his Disciples and the listeners. The woman from Canaan did not give up her hope and faith in Lord Jesus Christ and her daughter was healed. Please read the following passage, “But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the bread of children and to cast it to dogs. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs, which fall from table of their master. Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour”. (Matthew 15 : 24-28). Dr. Zakir should have seen the end result of the whole passage, yet he chose just one verse. What Dr. Zakir Naik does is, he reads one portion or one verse and makes his own false stories. In Holy Koran it is written, “Do not go near Namaz (Prayers) when you are drunk”. Now the people who drink say, it is written in Koran, “Do not go near Namaz” and they do not read why not and when not. In Pakistan it is said, “Mutt Ja Namaz Kay Kareeb”. Why cannot people like Dr. Zakir Naik read Matthew 28 Verses 19 and 20? Lord Jesus Christ said, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen”. This is the Great Commandment that we are carrying out since last almost 2000 years. Dr. Zakir Naik needs to read these passages too, “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.”. (Mark 16 : 15 - 16) “And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem”. (Luke 24 : 47) “Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost: Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained”. (John 20 : 21-23) “ But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth”. (Acts 1 : 8) If Dr. Zakir Naik reads these passages he must repent and be Baptized. As I wrote earlier Dr. Zakir Naik and other Muslim Scholars are “Scratching” the verses of Bible to find any fault in Christian Faith, yet they fail every time. I request Mr. Nisar to arrange a “Debate” with Dr. Abdul Karim Zakir in United States or in Pakistan, he will himself be baptized along with Dr. Zakir Naik. Sincerely in Him Bishop Timotheus Nasir
