Dear Dr. Nazir S. Bhatti; The letter written by this Danish Muslim is highly insulting. Nations like Denmark do not persecute Muslims. This writer also assumes that countries such as America are Christian. They were founded on Biblical principles but nations cannot be born again as Christ commanded his followers to be. If Khalid Chaudhary wishes to be respected by non-Muslims, an apology should first be written to this paper. Secondly, this person should examine the facts, namely that Christian individuals have greatly helped various non-Christian nations and peoples. Christians who visit "Islamic" countries are very respectful of their laws and customs. Christians are too busy pointing The Way to point the finger. After all, gospel means good news. True there have been some individuals who have behaved in an uncharitable manor but any open-minded scholar will note that nothing in the New Testament exhorts people to kill unbelievers. Any thinking person can also recognize the difference between the religion and it’s followers. Just as a bad waiter can turn people away from a good restaurant, a few pretend Christians turn many away from the faith. I myself had this experience. Once I read scripture without the blinders of the cult I once belonged to, I realized the true nature of Jesus and the false doctrine I unthinkingly swallowed. Khalid Chaudhary appears to have uncritically swallowed everything spoken at the mosque. This sort of person gives any religion a bad name.
