What you have mentioned in your letter is not true, but keep in mind that most of Pakistani Christian Ministers are coming from poor back ground and have lack of western knowledge. In this world to pass Intermediate or BA exams and become a Minister or Bishops is not enough. I remember, I read this article online some time ago that one Christian member of National assembly in 1992, during his tour to Kasur district stopped by the street vendor and order the famous sweets of this city, only miles away from Lahore. The Muslim vendor served the order but asked to carry out the plates in which the Christians have eaten and charged the prices of plates, glasses and spoons. So, please do not expect our Ministers or Bishops will take their steps out from ISB to the hamlet and involve themselves in this type of situation (Cheena bibi or blasphemy case), unless as you mentioned in your letter when they need votes. Even if you can see between Bishops and Priests does not have good understanding, as I heard that priest from Karachi are going Lahore (Bishop) to sign his stay order to continue, it is shame for us to criticize our Ministers, Bishops and Priests but they should also think that time has changed and they need to support our Christian community for what they are chosen from our People. We all know, how hardship Christian peoples are facing in Pakistan and our Ministers or Bishops can help them in different ways, but question is why? As they are happy for doing nothing for the Christian people but getting government benefit for them. In the end, I would like to say I will be happy if I am asked to do something for the Christian community.
