Greetings, I am a regular reader of your columns in the daily “Insaf “but I feel now as if you are biased now in your columns as you have started writing derogatory and vulgar language . We cannot expect such a language by a scholar like you who is or have been a professor. In your recent Column dated 01-07-2007 you have made a character assassination by using very vulgar language about Miss Rice who is the Foreign Secretary of USA saying “Kapati run” (a quarrelsome woman” and some other rough words that cannot be used by a decent person like you. And even today you lost your temperament in your column “Eik Dastik” (A Knock). In this column you have deliberately ignored the role of the foreign Relief Agencies which are still engaged and who have saved and are saving hundreds of thousands people in the earthquake areas of Pakistan and Kashmir with logistic and food relief. .Being so much biased against the Christian world. You have totally ignored their role which is not a positive symbol and mentioned all about the role of Islamic agencies. You have used the word “America Shamrica” and Bartania Shaytania” .Would you please explain what is Shamrica and Shaytania? Is Shaytania is not used for Satan insulting a nation? If one has so much prejudicial attitude against the West then one should boycott the inventions of the West along with even e-mail address, as computer is also the invention of the West. I am so sorry to say why people hate West and love its inventions? Is this not hypocrisy? Why the products that are used in the daily lives including life saving drugs and technology is not boycotted and the means of communications? .Sir, being a professor we expect you a balanced personality in your views. There should be a difference of opinion in an ignorant and an educationist and intellectual person like you. You should raise your voice not to attack the other religions as well. I would like if you reply me by mail or express my feelings in your column. Please let me know where have you served and what is or has been your department of teaching whether in college or university. Sir, we can only change the world by our positive attitudes not by provoking the innocent people. It is only peaceful mind that can bring peace in the world. I would expect if you write down the situation of the human rights of the religious minorities and down trodden people of our motherland. May Allah bless you.
