I am Sosheel Anjum working in the Diocese of Raiwind – Church of Pakistan in capacity of the Youth Coordinator for the last Five years. Our Diocesan Youth Ministry is in working from the last 17 years for the betterment of the Youth. Diocese of Raiwind is based on the old Methodist Church in Pakistan, which became a part of the Church of Pakistan in 1980 on the All Saint Day; it is only Methodist Diocese among eight Dioceses in Church of Pakistan. There are 36 active Christian Youth Groups (There about 800-1000 Youth are involved with Youth Ministry – Diocese of Raiwind) in different Churches of the Diocese functioning in urban and rural areas for Self and Church edification out of 40 parishes. Youth Department is one of the development wing among different Ministries of the Diocese strongly believes in a society based on equality, justice and peace in harmony with nature, therefore we are struggling hard to equip the young people of God to participate in the building of the Kingdom of God through Evangelism, prayer, nurture and renewal worship etc. we also try our best to involve the young people in the current domestic and international issues to come up with concrete solution to these problems which can help us to live in peace with each other as one creature of God . I shall be grateful if you could send me the details of your ministry, especially how you are involved with youth of your Church. It would be also very helpful if you could also tell us how we can join hands with your organization for seeking professional, moral, and technical support for up-gradation of our programs within the Church in Pakistan, which could help us revolutionalize our youth activities.
