Dear Wonderful Brothers and Sisters, Greetings to you from Aquila and Priscilla orphanage Home, Repalle, India. We hope this letter finds you all in sound health and enjoy the blessings of the God the Almighty. We thank God so much concerning you, for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus. We have received your address through Internet Website. We are so thankful to God for He has allowed us to correspond with you dear brethren in Christ. My name is S. Vidyasagar, 32 years; married last year. My wife name is Sarala, 29 years old. We are living at Repalle on the coastal belt of “Bay of Bengal”. I was born from a good Christian family and grown up under good Christian culture. I baptized and obeyed to precious call of Jesus Christ and devoted to His work. I am working as an evangelist at my native place for our community people. My heart’s desire and my prayer to God for our people are for their salvation. The word of God kept on spreading; many people were becoming obedient to the faith and saved through our Lord Jesus Christ. God blesses our evangelistic efforts. We are not being associated with any church or organization in India. We are serving the Lord faithfully and with sincere heart. We have orphanage home with 36 orphan children here at Repalle. The name of the orphanage home: “AQUILA AND PRISCILLA ORPHANAGE HOME, REPALLE”. We brought these children from platform, roadsides and slums. These children are actually parentless and homeless children and they are in great depressed condition. When we have seen them we showed pity and sympathy toward them and prepared mentally to save them from their depressed and ruin condition. You know Bible says “This is pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father, to visit orphans and widows in their distress” James 1:27. We have provided good home and pleasant atmosphere for these children. We supply very fresh and decent food for the children. We joined them in the secular school. Now they are going to their school very regularly and inherited very good Christian culture. We have two teachers, cook, one warden and one maiden (servant woman) for the orphanage home. We love orphanage children as our own children. We eat with them, we sleep with them and we live with them. We arranged a professional and good doctor for these children. Doctor visits our orphanage home weekly once and at emergencies and takes care about children’s health. Now our children are doing well by God’s grace. We do not have special funds for this orphanage home. We are supported by donations from our community people. Unfortunate thing is our people suffer from great poverty. Seventy percent people above are living under poverty line. Every day we suffer very much to collect contributions from people and supply the needs of our orphanage children. Now we face a great challenge to continue this orphanage home because of our financial problem. We are earnestly praying for the children and always wishes to provide decent and delicious food for children. We request you please participate in this service for these children.
