Dear Sir or Madam: I am a regular reader of your web-site and sympathize with the plight of ordinary Christians, Hindus, women, Shias, Ismailis, Qadianis and other minorities in Pakistan. It was disappointing to read the link in your home page on November 23rd to a Pak Tribune article titled "Widespread anti-India protests across IHK". The article contains distortions, lies and propaganda. For instance the linked article states: • Protests were "widespread" and in "thousands": if it was so widespread, how come no major international wire service noticed it? The pictures attached in the Pakistan Tribune web pages themselves show less than 20 protesters each. • "Puppet regime": This is a common term used by extremist and terrorist organizations to refer to democratically elected governments around the world. • "State terrorism": This is again a common term used by extremist and terrorist organizations to refer to lawful resistance to violent extremist organizations by democratically elected governments. • "Half-dead condition": This is not a medical term. It is again a propaganda term. Pakistan Christian Post severely undermines its own credibility and hurts the interests of Christians of Pakistan by including such false news items. It makes the reader question the veracity of other articles such as on the Sangla Hill Church attacks, impact of shariah laws on minorities and the title of “genocide” for Gujarat riots. I encourage you to desist from linking to jehadist propaganda articles in future. Please focus on reporting the truth and be more careful in your choice of words in general.
