Dear friends and supporters I am thankful to the Lord for His love and concern during these hard days of my life. His love has been shared by many sisters and brothers from all over the world who assured of their prayers and support. It is in fact the faith in Him and the concern of believers which has helped me sustain. I have been more disturbed with the attitude of the Church leaders, more particularly of those within the Church of Pakistan. Instead of comforting me they have tried to cover-up the issue one way or the other thus feeling proud of the act of their so-called bishop in Karachi Diocese. I take it as awfully anti-Christian. If at all they wanted to save the skin of Sadiq Daniel, they should have come to me and my family in the prescribed Christian way. On the other hand Bishop Malik tried adversely by making fake reports through a specially picked persons who are their front men in all negative moves. Why couldn’t they find persons of integrity who had free and clear conscience? It is also that a meeting of the Bishops was held in the end of the last month (June 2005) to facilitate Sadiq Daniel wherein he was given a fabricated report prepared by the fact finding commission of Bishop Malik’s for his defense. On the other hand Bishop and Mrs. Azad Marshal have also written me through an e-mail comforting me and assuring me of their concern and prayer support which I need most of all. In his e-mail he denies of any such meeting with the bishops around the 30th of last month when Bishop Azad Marshal was in Lahore. If he denies of the meeting and having seen the report then it may yet be another bit of paper work by bishop Malik and his team. This raises important questions like; if it was a Bishops Council meeting, why wasn’t bishop Malik invited Bishop Azad Marshal in that meeting? Also that until to-date the report of that so-called Fact Finding Commission of Bishop Malik has not been circulated. Again why the report whatever it is has not been presented in the Executive Committee of the Synod, however disputed and illegal that may be? Above everything does bishop Malik has the right to appoint such a commission or it should be appointed by the Executive Committee itself? Maybe the British High Commission in Karachi, British Council in Karachi and the British Women’s Association in Karachi are the free and fair forums to be consulted in this regard. I feel that it is high time the Church of Pakistan should go into retreat seeking God’s forgiveness and of those whom they have oppressed cruelly all over Pakistan. It is also the Lord’s time to put the Church back to its track as expected by the Lord. I again thank all my sisters, brothers, friends, prayer partners and more particularly Bishop Azad and Lesley Marshall for their courage and just support. At least Bishop Azad has alive conscious and courage to support the oppressed even if it is somebody like me at the hands of a so-called bishop and a fabricated system of the Church of Bishop Malik. I suggest the name of Church of Pakistan be changed the Church of Bishop Malik. God bless you all. In the love and body of Jesus Christ.
