Reply to Alexander Mumtaz & all concerned regarding Bishop Gone.. By Rev. Ilyas Mukhtar

Dear brother Alexander Mumtaz & all concerned, Greetings from Rawalpindi, Pakistan! You are very right indeed that the crises cropping up from the Raiwind Diocese can indulge the Church of Pakistan into further crises. Sadistically the accusations against Bishop Sammy Azariah (Bishop Gone) are mainly on moral and ethical grounds and to me being the members of the Universal Church we all got to put are efforts collectively to save the Church of Pakistan. There was a time when the members of the Church of Pakistan used to admire and respect the Bishops of the Church, bearing in mind that their religious leaders are working in the guidance of the Holy Spirit and in the light of the Word of God moreover, the majority of the members never expected a mockery of this sort from the leadership of the Church, which was misunderstood by the Bishops and they started thinking that they have become almighty(s) and lords, so they are free to do whatever they would like and that they are accountable to nobody but with growing awareness amongst the members of the Church of Pakistan now it seems that people have started understanding that the Church belongs to the members not the leadership and hopefully Lord Jesus Christ will answer the prayers of the believers, who are praying for the Church of Pakistan all over the world. Within the Church of Pakistan some church leaders started manipulating the resources of the Church in order to achieve their personal motives and taking advantage of the unawareness amongst the members of the Church of Pakistan they put up for sale the resources and assets of the Church and till to date they are minting money like anything. Now this group has become a Mafia, under the headship of Bishop Alexander John Malik and on the basis of their close ties with the Church of England, funding agencies and the high-ups in the Government of Pakistan they are planning to grab the resources of the Church, lies within their Dioceses by separating their Dioceses from the Church of Pakistan. The saddest part of this conspiracy against the Church of Pakistan is that the Church of England, Church of Scotland, Anglican Communion and all the funding agencies attached with the Church of England are also supporting this Mafia. Knowingly that the aims of this Mafia are to destroy the Church of Pakistan and grab its resources, the Partners are facilitating them, so much so that Mr. John Hayward of CMS, Mr. Philip Simpson, Mr. Dick Kleinhesselink of CPMPF, Ms Anne of Interserve and others are opposing the Reformation Movement and providing funds to members of this Mafia. So far more than 25 million rupees have been spent by Rev. Sadiq Daniel on the cases pending against him in various Courts and around 50 million rupees is spent by him on his personal projection, even then constitutionally or legally he stands nowhere. Same is the case at Lahore Diocese where more than 6 cases are pending against Bishop Malik and LDTA, where he is asserting that the Lahore Diocese is an independent Church (Registered) and has nothing to do with the Church of Pakistan. In this scenario when Bishop Malik is trying to separate his Diocese from the Church of Pakistan, disputes amongst the Bishops and Reverends are escalating, Church of England has pledged its support to one fraction of the Church, Funding Agencies are financing the Court cases at Karachi, Lahore and Hyderabad, National Accountability Bureau is investigating various cases on the subject of illegal sales of the Church Properties, this new issue concerning the unconstitutional absence of Bishop Gone from his Diocese for more than 9 months a year and the charges framed against him by Mr. Anwar Lal Dean on the basis of moral and ethical grounds may lead to another case and quarrel. At this time when the devil is trying his best to destroy the Church, the believers must get together in prayers and with the power of Prayer we can still save our Church. Especially the people living outside Pakistan must support the members in prayers so that the Lord may save The Church of Pakistan. For the unity of The Church of Pakistan, Rev. Ilyas Mukhtar Rawalpindi Pakistan
