Dear Mrs. Stephen Herbert, Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! I have been receiving these email regarding the quarrel and brawl in the Church since last more then a year. At first I was stunned to see such an email in my mail box, at that time I was very much irritated when I comprehended that Ill have to waste my time on reading these emails regarding the characters, tricks and activities of our Pakistani Bishops. But later when I talk about these emails with my Pakistani friends here at London, I was amazed to hear a lot of stories of our Bishops, which are dreadfully famous amongst the Pakistani Christians here in London, I realized that you people are doing a great job by publishing these concern. At the time when I left Pakistan the members of the Church of Pakistan were least worried and unconcerned of what ever happening in the Church. But this reformation movement or awareness drive or what ever you people call it is really a need of the day. I must also appreciate the contribution of The CoP News Service Team. I do not know these people but I do know that the Church belongs to the members and not only the leadership and the members must be updated. You very well inscribed in your e - mail under the subject Pouring wine in the well of the Church of Pakistan that the Bishops have made themselves like the lords of the ancient Church which gave rise to the reformation movement. But whatever little I have understood from the inner stories of our bishops and these emails is that the Bishops of the Church of Pakistan are busy in pouring hard liquor in the well of the Church of Pakistan. It is well known that Bishop of Sialkot, Lahore and Raiwind are habitual drinkers and that they make plans regarding the Church of Pakistan while drinking. A lot of people say that Bishop of Lahore wants to be the Moderator of the Church of Pakistan but he knows that he can not achieve this position in the united Synod as he does not have majority in the Synod and for that reason he is making disposable bishops like Rev. Sadiq Daniel and Rev. Rafique Masih and does not want the Church to unite. Pouring wine in the well may bring healing to the Church which at the present scenario does not suets to Bishop of Lahore as he may be afraid of losing his disputed Moderator ship thus he is pouring liquor in the well of the Church of Pakistan. May the Lord bless you all. Sunil Arif Quoting "Mrs. Stephen Herbert" : Instead of taking the dead dog out of the well of the Church of Pakistan the Bishops of the Church of Pakistan have started pouring wine in the well of the Church of Pakistan. Bishop Ejaz Inayat of Karachi had placed an appeal before the entire Church to take the dead dog out of the well of the Church of Pakistan which meant the sanctification of the Church from corruption, Constitutional abuses and illegal sale of properties. We admire his thesis which is based on the fundamental principle that no peace can be reached or maintained with out justice in the system. Unfortunately the Bishops have made themselves like the lords of the ancient Church which gave rise to the reformation movement. The team of the corrupt bishops is led by the senior most Bishop of Lahore who is not the senior most by way of exercising sense of responsibility/maturity or making and offering sacrifices for the life and ministry of the Church, but only by claiming and enjoying false respect and benefits much against the basic teaching of the Bible. He along with his associates has started pouring wine in the well of the Church of Pakistan. Besides the usage of the expression the obvious reasoning behind the thought could be:- 1. To divert the attention of the Church members of the Church from the presence of the dead dog in the well of the Church. 2. To attract the members to the luxuries/glamour/riches or whatever is attached with the sense of wine. 3. To make the people even more senseless to the situation and issues. 4. To show the he does not care for the Church and the protesters even a little bit. 5. To drag on the time on his convenience. What ever the reasons of his thesis the fact remains that he is nobodys friend. He is more concerned about his ego, his personal interests, his pride and glamour and what not. As he claims to be the Primate of Pakistan and the Moderator of the Church of Pakistan why doesnt he ask Samuel Azariah about the reason of his absence from his Diocese for over nine months each year? Samuel Azariah is still out of his Diocese. It is learnt that the Nationality of USA is dearer to Samuel Azariah than his Diocese, of Raiwind to him. Doesnt Bishop Malik hear the cries of the congregation of Raiwind Diocese which is mingled within the Diocese of Lahore? It is also learnt that Bishop Samuel Azariah works in a garments factory in the United States for most of the time when he is there in order to show a legal source of income from within the USA. What sort of sincerity does it reflect on the part of both of them? It is learnt that the Bishops will be meeting shortly to bail out the Church from these crisis. Should it be out of place to ask them to clarify their own positions before they sit on the throne of justice? Or would they continue with their deceptive tactics in order to further deceive the world and do away with the money they have earned from the sale of properties? Whatever small ratio of decent Bishops sitting with them, doesnt seem to have enough courage to challenge the other Bishops to repentance for the sake of the Church.
