The role of the most of the Bishops of the Church of Pakistan has not been up to the required standards. The commoners of the pews had great expectations from them and people have gone to the extent of worshipping them. Now it seems that somebody has to pick up the stick and tell them in the words of Jesus "Get out of here! How dare you turn my Father's house into a market?" Yet there is another way of redeeming the offices and that has also been told by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. That is the way of repentance which is to be born again. I wonder this debate has been going on for a long time now and the most of the people have been fence sitters. I pray and wish that the youth of the Church try to understand their responsibility as the elders have gone astray. I also want to ask Bishop Malik who always took delight in being called the senior most Bishop of the Church of Pakistan and now recently the Moderator/Primate of the Church of Pakistan, what example he is setting for the others to follow. Bishop Malik stop being hypocrite and diplomatic. Repent before it is too late as you are destroying the Church along with those who are your partners.
