Dear Bro George Munir Greetings from Karachi! It is worthy to note that the Christian friends in Quetta like other parts of the country are well aware of the developments going on in the Church of Pakistan. The issues you raised and identified are very important in their nature and can not be ignored or kept aside. Of course these are the core issues which need immediate attention of the Lords of the Church of Pakistan. The sincere well wishers of COP have very strong and firm belief that without addressing and redressing these issues all of the efforts made by the Lords of the COP will end with no result. The HYPOCRITIC CULTURE of the various Church Leaders has damaged, demolished, and destroyed the Righteous, Just and Biblical character of the Church and we do not know that for how long these hypocrites leaders will continue playing their games for their political and financial gains. There is a very loud say in Karachi and in other Dioceses as well that Quetta will be made a Separate Diocese and Rev. Sadiq Daniel is urged by the bishops to go to Quetta and leave Karachi for Bishop Ejaz Inayat. The various reports and surveys show that there is a huge pressure on some of the Bishops like bishop Malik of Lahore and bishop Azraiah of Raiwind to sit with other bishops and resolve the issues. Bishop Malik has lost LDTA cases in courts of Punjab against Bishop John Samuel, selling of Anglican properties, Gay and Lesbian issue, fear of IMPEACHMENT for his extra-constitutional (COP) affairs, etc etc. Bishop Azraiah of Raiwind is also under pressure as Mr. Anil Ashiq Choudhry of Lahore has got stay from the Courts in Punjab against the Methodist properties. He is the main character for the existing worst situation of the COP. He himself was interested to become the bishop of Karachi, and for his own gains he has did his best to bring divisions, partibazi, and chaos in the Church. He is also has a fear of IMPEACHMENT for not going according to his oath. This is common understanding here that bishop Samuel Pervaiz of Sialkot has joined hands with Rev. Sadiq Daniel at the agenda of selling St. Andrew's Church, Abdullah Haroon Road, Karachi. Mr. Mano Romal Shah of Peshawar has now suddenly landed from somewhere; he is the person who was inducted as bishop of Peshawar against the protests and resolutions of the Christians, some Dioceses and most of the Pastors of the COP. The status of Rev. Sadiq Daniel has been challenged in the High courts and it is about to be finalized. You may be aware that he has lost two separate cases in the lower courts and court has clearly said that he rigged the elections on 14-2-2002 and announced himself as bishop of Karachi, the court passed an order that Rev. Sadiq Daniel can not exercise any authority in the capacity of bishop of Karachi, till the cases in the Honorable High court of Sindh are finalized. Rev. Rafiq Masih who claims to be bishop of Hyderabad has also to leave his place soon. He was not made bishop by the Synod COP, and there are also serious constitutional irregularities in his induction. Dear Bro. I do not know what is coming up next and what will be the formula of the proposed reconciliation, peace and harmony in the Church, but I pray that the responsible people must act responsibly. We welcome peace and reconciliation, but we will not allow anyone to go against the Constitution of the COP, basic principles of justice, and of course the matters in the courts will be handled by the Courts and we all respect the honorable Courts. Dear Bro I have intimated you about the proposed campaign started by the bishops to send Rev. Sadiq Daniel to Quetta. Since you are an able and God fearing leader you must start thinking about the future of Church properties in Quetta.
