Dear Mr., Miss or Mrs. Sia Vir, It is always good to write your name with address when you criticize some one. However, what I wrote is my conviction and what you wrote is yours. You might be a righteous person and that makes me happy that you responded through Pakistan Christian Post. I very humbly wish to let you know that what I wrote is what present time situation is with Christians and especially with Pakistani Christians living abroad.Yet we always want to listen a good news yet we are afraid of the truth that is on ground. I would like to know what good it is to celebrate a Christian festival and forget the very meaning of it? Or not to celebrate and try to think what our lives are? If we are just celebrating Easter as e world is celebrating and forget or do not want to remember the very meaning of Easter, should we still celebrate it? I would further ask, what good the "Interfaith Peace and Harmony" and "Interfaith Dialogue" has done for the benefit of Christians at the grass root level? The result is ZERO at that level. Easter is the day when the Lord rose from the dead and opened the way to salvation. Have we adopted that way. Certainly not. Therefore I don't write an article that is borrowed and repeated "once" every year. Please come out of the false dreams that with all that we do as Christians we will be saved by being called Christians. That is not enough. Don't you agree that all of us have drifted away from Lord Jesus Christ? All of us have our own agenda and yet we dare say Happy Easter to on and other. All of us that includes me too, need to think what we are doing, where are we going and if we are going the wrong way we must change our lives and then we shall merit to celebrate Easter and not before that.
