Respected Dr. Amir Liaqat Hussain, This is with reference to your program "Easter" on Geo TV today at 6:30 PM PST, today the 15th of March 2004. It seems that the object of such programs is to ridicule the Christians in Pakistan. I wish to know the reason for the presence of a Muslim scholar, and their comments on our Festivals and Holy Days such as Easter, The Good Friday and Christmas. If these programs are for Christians then there is no need to know Islamic point of view on our Holy Days. You very well understand that Christian doctrine is not accepted by the Muslim scholars though it is endorsed by the Holy Quran and we don't accept Islamic doctrine when it comes to Christianity. Today your own words were extremely derogatory while asking the question regarding the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. In that you said, "Will Jesus Christ come out of a sea, will come out of ground or air. Let me tell you that Jesus Christ is ALIVE. His "grave is empty since last 2000 years. He is not dead like other human beings who are still in their graves. He will come from heaven, this time not to purify human race and lead them any where as you suggested. Jesus Christ is coming to JUDGE the world and announce the verdict. I would therefore request your kind self to please refrain from such comments. If it is absolutely important then please invite some known Christian scholar who is able to deal with Muslim scholars that are invited in your programs to speak against Christianity. Let this program be "Live". More over I wish to ask, "has any Christian asked or criticized or given his/her view while Muslims celebrate Eids or during the month of Ramzan or Muharam and other Muslim festivals"? If we don't object to Islamic festivals and give our views or opinion, why a Muslim be allowed to give his view on our festivals, Holy Days and Eids if you wish to call them Eids? In past I have sent a number of messages and phone calls on 0900-99910 yet I have not received a reply from you.
