Dear Mr. I. M. Badar Sarhadi It is heartening to see what you have written in both of your attachments. The RSV and other modern versions of the Holy Bible are a conspiracy against the Word of God. We the members and the leadership of the United Presbyterian Church of Pakistan were the first to reject and protest the book called RSV and other versions called Bibles yet they are not. Since 1967 we are trying to bring it to attention of Pakistani Christians and back in 1973 people of Lahore successfully blocked a "Qaida" type translation of the Epistle to Romans. We have repeatedly written in the Monthly Kalam-E-Haq Gujranwala. Last time we wrote was in 1997. The February issue will give details of all changes that were brought in, in RSV and some still exist in various modern versions of the Holy Bible. In January 2001 the Pakistan Bible Society Lahore, printed and launched "Mutaliati Angeel". This book is again full of mistakes. Even few words of a verse are missing. The explanations given below are extremely dangerous and in some way derogatory to the Holy Name of Lord Jesus Christ. I went to see the General Secretary of the Pakistan Bible Society, Anarkali, Lahore. I was told that the book has been compiled by "Oxford Graduates". I was given a detailed lecture by the General Secretary on Greek and Hebrew. However the Bible Society did not take any responsibility for the mistake and misinterptations of the New Testament. I hope any pray that the people at the helm of affairs may listen to you. However in my experience they have "Itchy ears" and they don't want to correct their mistakes.
