New Year Mail! by Rev. Emis Daniel

By :

Dear Rev. Julie Lipp-Nathaniel Greetings in Jesus and a very happy New Year. Thank you for your e-mail dated 6th January. It is sad that you are no more the Secretary of CPMPF. I think you were beginning to understand the problems faced by us here in Pakistan. Anyways the Lord shall remain in control and correct the things named after Him in His own way at His own time. Your e-mail reflects many things yet it does not say what the so-called partners of the Church of Pakistan say about the core issues. They have not been dealt by the worthy and learned Christian sisters and brothers. May I ask all of you what the issues are? If you do not recognize one part of the Church of Pakistan, would it cease to exist? Or the Lord will throw it in the lake of fire on the recommendations of the partners? Or will the Lord approve of the role of the partners in the life of the Church of Pakistan? Or, has your responsibility ended with the shift of the seat of the Secretary of CPMPF? >From the core of my heart I feel that, if the partners including the former Archbishop had played a more sensible and God fearing role, our Church would have united and resolved all its issues by now. Let me tell you one thing which will help you all your life, "The truth always prevails, however long it may be delayed through influences, diplomacies, false affidavits and foreign policies." The bitter part of the fact is that the partners never tried to find the truth and never helped as Christian partners and played their role as peace-makers. Please keep this e-mail as a record because the time will tell that "you" are wrong in your approach with the Church of Pakistan. Let me make it very clear that we are not after you for you money and we with a conscience feel that the foreign money is a curse. Yet we value friendship and fellowship in the body of Jesus Christ. We would have appreciated your role of bringing reconciliation to the Church of Pakistan. We would have appreciated if you had the same yard stick through out for every body. Even until today none bothered about the real issues. Your responsibilities remain the same my dear sister even if you are no longer the secretary of the CPMPF. Please try to relate the Word of God into the situations rather than applying the policies of your bosses as we shall all stand before the same throne of judgment from whom no secrets are hidden. You are complaining about the language of some of the hurt brothers and sisters? I am sorry for all of them, but can you heal the wounds of the Church of Pakistan that have been inflicted by the role of the West? May I ask you to make a list of the issues of the Church of Pakistan and their cures also? God bless you all. Revd. Emis Daniel Secretary Special Commission Diocese of Karachi, CoP
