Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Wish you a very Happy New Year. The Lord has always been the same all through the days, months, and years in the past, present or future yet He remains the same. He has always given us chances to repentance, He waits for us always only because of His love for us. His tolerance for all of us has confirmed His love for all of us. I do not want to criticize Bishops or Pastors nor do I want to narrate all that happened in the past, whatever happened, each one of us is equally responsible for that. Criticizing each other will not heal the Church. If we want to reconcile the Church of Pakistan, first of all we have to reconcile at the personal levels. Our love, tolerance and forgiveness for each other will show that we are the disciples of Jesus Christ. Remember the massage of God at the first Christmas “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace to men on whom His favor rests.” Surely the Father is not happy with all of us who are not at peace with each other. These positions, authorities and politics will pass away but the love shall remain. Let us reconstitute our agendas in the new year to find out how we can please the Lord God our Father in the rest of our lives. Dear Brothers and Sisters, it’s a new year in our lives and at the same time another year in the life and history of the Church of Pakistan. Let us reconcile to unite our Church. Truly Yours The Rt.
