Dear Rev. Ilyas Mukhtar Greetings to you in the Precious Name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I received your e-mail, thank you very much. I believe that there is some misconception in your response to my e-mail regarding Bishop Malik And I like to bring it to your attention as follows: 1. I believe in the Holy Word of God "Cover to cover and Word to word". 2. I do not believe in compromising the Word of God in any circumstances. 3. I do not nor did I ever claim to be champion or a scholar of the Word of God. I have no desire of any glory because for me all glory belongs to the Lord and all what I read in last few e-mails is totally pathetic. 4. I do not support nor am against any Bishops in Church of Pakistan. I fail to understand how you perceived that my e-mail was in support of Bishop Malik. However, it saddens to read things that only speak low moral of Christian leadership in that group of believers and circle. 5. I did not interpret the gospel in any why except that what I was trying to write is that every denomination and nations see and proclaim God Word in their own way, culture and convenience. But I do not have any part with it and I am not going to change my ways to the changing modern society because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever. 6. I also know that most of the pastors are big time liars. Satan is the author of lies and when pastors and bishops lie deliberately then they associate themselves to the principalities of darkness. This Church politics among the church leaders, Court cases, power greedy is all embodied in bunch of lies, schemes and deception but of course a very few negligible minority are not a part of that. 7. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever and the Word of God is the same all over the world. So-called church leaders are responsible for creating confusion, denominations, theories etc. etc. etc. When we all get to heaven there will be no Anglicans, Presbyterians, Methodists, Baptist or Pentecostals. All will be believers in Christ. So why all the confusion. Liquor or no liquor, Morality or immorality. Don't you all denominations; bishops, church leaders and nation see how crystal clear and simple is the Word of God. I want to ask you few questions. Do you believe in the POWER OF PRAYER? Do you live in the POWER OF PRAYER? Do you believe that PRAYER still works? Jesus said that I will send you the Helper "The Holy Ghost” When it will come upon you, you will do greater works than these. I ask you where are those greater works. What have you been doing getting educated in the seminary and years of pastoring. Where are those greater works that Jesus promised? Is Jesus a liar????? Like Rev. Aslam Ziai once said "SATAN HAS CREPT INTO THE SYSTEM" It is true. If we become a praying nation then through the power of prayer Bishop Malik or whoever it may be will be changed or removed by the power of the prayers of the righteous. I am not interested in arguments because that too is an ingredient of Satan. Rev. Mukhtar if you think that I am wrong in my views then pray for me so that God will put straight my path and thinking or else He may change you and all those others involved in this great challenge and concern more especially in the Church of Pakistan. What Bishop does and says makes him accountable in God's presence and what you and I say and do will make us accountable in God's presence. If Bishop Malik is what you all profess then pray for a change of heart in his life just as you would pray for a change in the heart of your loved one, congregation or people. God is not deaf that he cannot hear or maybe your prayers are not sincere enough to make any difference. GOD DOES NOT ANSWERS POLITICAL PRAYERS. God will respond to a prayer coming from a HUMBLE AND A CONTRITE HEART. And if still the concerned Bishop or leader does not turn to the right then GOD'S HAND IS NOT SHORT THAT HE CANNOT REMOVE THAT PERSON FROM THAT POSITION OR EARTH. But spreading e-mail all around the world will only create confusion, hurt, disunity, anger and frustration. What is the future of the majority poverty driven Pakistani Christians????? 1. How many percentage of them are getting quality education? 2. How many of them attain education and get good jobs? 3. How many of them are able to start a respectable business? 4. How many of them are able to own their own homes? 5. How many of them get proper quality health services? 6. How many of those Christian students who get admission in foreign universities actually able to afford and get into those universities? 7. How many funds that have been sponsored for the uplift of Christian community has been used for the luxury of so called leaders? 8. How many church conferences and seminars overseas have been benefited by church leaders relatives and deserving candidates were left behind. I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I AM NOT OFFENDED BY YOUR RESPONSE BECAUSE THOSE WHO STAND FOR THE TRUTH NEED NOT TO BE SCARED OR INTIMIDATED BY ANYONE. I AM AGRESSIVE IN MY FAITH WITH THE LORD. BUT LIFE HAS ALSO TAUGHT ME TO PUT EVERYTHING AT THE FEET OF JESUS IN PRAYER. Therefore I encourage you and all those concerned to PRAY with a sincere and contrite heart and if needed fast so that not by human power but by the POWER OF THE LORD things and people will be changed.
