Professor Salamat Akhter nominated as chairman Pakistan Christian Congress, coordination committee.
New York. September 16, 2001. Mr. Nazir S. Bhatti, chief of Pakistan Christian Congress, nominated Professor Salamat Akhter, a prominent educationist and christian leader, from Rawalpindi, as chairman, coordination committee PCC.
After thousands of christian from Punjab province seeking membership of Pakistan Christian Congress on PCC official website on internet, the coordination committee of PCC in a meeting at Karachi, recommended the nomination of Professor Salamat Akhter, as chairman of committee on September 13, 2001 and extended their full support in his leadership to launch the re organizational move at provincial and district levels to unite Christians on one plate form.
