Sialkot: (District Reporter) Christian Awareness Movement Central Chairman Dr. Emanuel Adil Ghouri and Central President Imran Shahzad Sahutra have said in a joint statement that it is the constitutional and legal right of Christians to protest against the killing of Markaus Masih by influential people in Sargodha, which the local police have tried to suppress by registering a case against Mushtaq Masih Gill , Nabil Gill, Irfan Gill l and other leaders and harassing them. We strongly condemn this    

We demand that the higher authorities immediately issue orders to dismiss the case. The daily incidents of violence and killing of Christians prove that minorities are unsafe in Pakistan and registering cases against those who raise their voices for their protection is a clear violation of human rights. We demand that instead of suppressing minorities, they be provided with effective protection from action of the police
