Faisalabad: Human Rights Focus Pakistan (HRFP) condemns the sexual abusing of minor Christian girl Simran Amjad of age 12. Minor girl raped at gunpoint during kidnapping while the Police has registered the case against three accused
HRFP Fact Finding team visited the family, collected the facts and reports with ensuring every possible support in a horrifying incident in Faisalabad where a 12-year-old girl was allegedly raped at gunpoint after kidnapping.
According to the complaint filed with Millat Town Police, the victim’s father, Amjad Masih, stated that on December 8, 2025, at approximately 6:30 PM, his daughter Simran went out to buy household items and did not return home. Upon searching, the father learned from local residents, the witnesses Adeel Masih and Parvez Masih, that the girl had been seen forcefully entering a house with Talha Shabbir and Muhammad Arsalan, two residents of the same colony.
When the victim’s father Amjad Masih and witnesses went to the mentioned house, they allegedly found Talha Shabbir forcibly committing rape with the minor girl. Muhammad Arsalan, armed with a pistol, threatened the father and witnesses, and fled with Talha Shabbir as the victim’s father arrived.
HRFP team also finds that the complaint was received from Amjad Masih to Sub-Inspector Asad Hayat at Kalash Park Chowk, who confirmed that an offense under Section 375-A PPC had occurred after kidnapping. The case had been forwarded to Millat Town Police Station for registration of a formal FIR. Following registration, the investigation being conducted by the Special Sexual Offenses Investigation Unit (SSIOU). During the last court hearing on January 5th, there is not any development while the police are still unsuccessful in arresting culprits and following court orders, till date.
Naveed Walter president Human Rights Focus Pakistan (HRFP) said that the case of Simran Amjad comes under the multiple offenses being child abuse, abduction, attempt to get married a minor girl through forced conversion while the family is under threats to step back the case. He said FIR (First Information Report) is not enough, as this is a basic right of every complainant, the main task is to bring the culprits to justice, protection of victim & family and make sure to stop such violations in the future.
Naveed Walter president HRFP said that more than a month has passed to the incident but there is not any development in favor of victim and family, he added.
