Violent Attack on Pastor Kamran Naaz Exposes Rising Christian Persecution — LEAD Ministries Demands Accountability

ISlamabad: LEAD Ministries Pakistan vehemently condemns the brutal and cowardly assassination attempt on Pastor Kamran Naaz in Iqbal Town, Islamabad. This heinous act is not just an attack on one man—it is a vicious assault on the entire Christian community and a blatant display of religious hatred.

We demand immediate and uncompromising action from the government and law enforcement agencies. The perpetrators must be arrested without delay and punished to the fullest extent of the law. The growing wave of violence against Christian leaders and minorities in Pakistan is unacceptable and must be stopped now.

Sardar Mushtaq Gill, Founder of LEAD Ministries, calls on Christians everywhere to unite in prayer and raise their voices against this atrocity. Pastor Kamran’s life—like the lives of many others—is in grave danger, and the state’s failure to protect its minority citizens is shameful.

Pastor Imran Amanat, Leader of LEAD Ministries Pakistan, stated:

“This attack is a direct challenge to our community’s right to live in peace and security. We will not be intimidated or silenced. We demand that the authorities immediately ensure the protection of Christian leaders and hold the criminals accountable. If the government continues to ignore these threats, it becomes complicit in the persecution.”

LEAD Ministries Pakistan stands firm in its commitment to documenting every act of violence and advocating relentlessly for justice, religious freedom, and the protection of Christians across Pakistan.

Enough is enough. We will no longer tolerate violence, hatred, or silence from those in power. The lives of Christian leaders and communities matter.

Christian leaders across the country are urgently calling on the government to take decisive and transparent action to protect religious minorities, ensure the safety of church leaders, and bring the perpetrators of this horrific attack to justice. If swift action is not taken, the silence of the state will be seen as complicity.
