Prayer Request for blessings to persecuted Families in Pakistan and Malaysia. Appeal by Bishop Farhad Bhatti
Malaysia: Merciful Lord of Hosts, I fall before Your throne of grace and mercy at the dawn of this year, 2025, broken and weary from the weight of a decade-long struggle for persecuted community families in different countries. My heart is heavy, my strength is failing, and my spirit groans under the burden of persecution, betrayal, and loss. (Romans 8:26)
I thank You, Merciful Lord God, for the guidance of Your Holy Spirit that carried me through these years. Since 2015, You have led me to minister to persecuted asylum seekers and refugees, those whose cries echoed with the pain of abandonment and suffering. (Psalm 34:18 )
I have seen Your hand use me to bring hope to the faint-hearted, light to those trapped in darkness, and courage to the hopeless as they fled unimaginable oppression. For this, I always give You all glory and praise. (Isaiah 61:1)
But now, Glorious Almighty God, my steps falter, and my heart aches with desperation. After years of service to Your mission of salvation and peace, I find myself trapped in Malaysia and ensnared in Pakistan, where uncertainty surrounds me like a storm. (Psalm 42:11)
My strength is gone, my body is worn, and I am surrounded by those who care nothing for Your divine purpose. They mock Your truth and seek only their gain, conspiring to crush my spirit and destroy the calling You placed on my life. (Psalm 31:13)
Merciful Lord, I have walked by faith in Christ in Your promises in this materialistic world, not by sight. (2 Corinthians 5:7) I have clung to Your Holy promises, believing that You would never leave nor forsake me among materialistic mentalities who cannot believe in Your holy promises in reality. (Deuteronomy 31:8 )
Yet, the schemes of the corrupt and the wicked press upon me and bound my family in Pakistan and push me down. They always kept me alone in helplessness under other guidance. They have stolen what was mine, killed my loved ones, and left my family destitute. (John 10:10)
They weave their lies and greed to entrap me further, attempting to silence the mission of peace and salvation You have placed in my heart and my life. Now they never let me carry on Your mission work for Your Kingdom. (Psalm 37:12-13)
Merciful Father God, my soul cries out to You! Rescue me, Lord! Rescue my family from the relentless threats, the unbearable loss, and the overwhelming attacks that surround us in Malaysia and Pakistan. (Psalm 18:6 Though the wicked believe You will not answer, I trust in Your unfailing love. (Psalm 13:5 –) I trust that You see my pain, You hear my cries, and You know the depths of my despair. (Psalm 56:8) You are the living God of majesty, the Almighty Deliverer who parts seas and raises the broken. (Exodus 14:21 )
I believe in Your eternal promises and infinite power. Please, Lord, deliver me and my family from this misery. Strengthen my spirit in the truth of Your Holy Word’s promises and guide me according to Your divine will. (Isaiah 40:31 ) Grant us shelter, Lord—a place of safety and purpose where we can continue Your mission of peace and salvation. (Psalm 91:2 –) Restore what the enemy has stolen. (Joel 2:25) Redeem our tears with Your joy and make a way where there seems to be none. (Isaiah 43:19)
I ask this entire breakthrough, with a desperate and believing heart, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, my Savior and Deliverer. In Yeshua Holy Name. Amen.
