Faisalabad: Human Rights Focus Pakistan (HRFP) urged the authorities to take quick action against threatening for fake blasphemy charges to Christian female officer Samina Mushtaq at Karachi Airport during performing the duties; the accuser must be apprehended and prosecuted and provide immediate security to Christian office & family.

On 7th January 2023 a man named Saleem an officer of Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) allegedly threatens the female officer, saying that he will accuse her of blasphemy, call religious clerics and will cut her into pieces if she doesn't let his car go,”. 

Human Rights Focus Pakistan (HRFP) applauded the female security officer who handled the situation wisely and courageously even for threatening her with blasphemy allegations and killing on spot.

Human Rights Focus Pakistan (HRFP) is highly concerned about the fake allegations of blasphemy against Christians and minorities being easier targets from a long period of time. Again, this has proved at Karachi Airport to Christian female officer that she takes action against a man who takes his car in cargo area of Airport premises illegally. 

Naveed Walter president of Human Rights Focus Pakistan (HRFP) stated that the reply of Samina Mushtaq  to CAA officer Saleem is actually a voice of all the Christians and victimized innocent minorities to accusers saying that “you people alleged Christians being easier targets and same intends to do against her being Christian, but she will perform her duty as per rule and law.” Naveed Walter rose, where is state and authorities? What actions they have taken against the serious threats to Christian female officer? Only the dismissing is not a solution, there should be actions and strategies  together for to stop such incidents, he added. 

Naveed Walter said further, if the Christian woman was alleged and killed on the spot as severally has happened same with other innocents then who was responsible? The footage of the incident has proved the innocence of the Christian officer, he added. 

Naveed Walter said that a female Christian security officer even didn’t care with the threats of blasphemy charges and murdering over a parking dispute in Karachi from a man whose vehicle also have a lack of custom’s documentation. She must be awarded and rewarded with protections measures for her courageous performance; Naveed Walter added.
