J Salik demands election not selection on reserved seats in parliaments
Islamabad: January 5, 2008. World Minorities Alliance and Pakistan Human Right Party chief J. Salik held a protest rally from Press club Islamabad to Sarena Hotel.
J. Salik was hoisting European Union Flag for supports to Christian to elect their true representatives.
Mrs. Marry J. Salik was holding a play card and other people were carrying cars reading, "EC should open minority seats for election in the light of 1973 Constitution". "Pervaz Musharraf deprived Christian from genuine parliamentary democracy". "Who will represent 5 million Christian in the parliament??? "No selection but election on 10 minority reserved seats. "Reserved seats for Christian on the basis of election but not selection." "United Nations, Country European Union and Common Wealth must Support Christians.
