Islamabad October 7. (PR) Former federal minister and Christian leader J.Salik's petition challenging the validity of election laws relating to reserved seats for non-Muslims will come up for regular hearing tomorrow before the Supreme Court.

The Bench comprises Chief Justice Shaikh Riaz Ahmed, Mr Justice Munir A.Shaikh, Mr Justice Nazim Hussain Siddiqui, Mr Justice Iftikhar Ahmad Chaudhry and Mr Justice Qazi Mohammad Farooq. The petition had been admitted on Thursday. The petitioner had contended that the genuine representation of the non-Muslims would be frustrated by the newly introduced mode of election. Former Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court Mr. Abdul Karim Kundi represented the petitioner.
